Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that the Russian military will achieve all its goals in Ukraine militarily if the Ukrainian government refuses to agree to a peace deal. Putin claimed victory in the Lugansk region and is focusing on seizing Ukrainian territory in the south. With advancements made in the Kherson direction, Putin is confident that Ukraine will eventually have to accept the defeat in the ongoing war. The president also emphasized the role of the Minsk agreement in resolving the conflict, with Russia ready to facilitate the negotiation process. This comes as a response to the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who insisted on negotiations only on Ukrainian terms.
