Five thousand aid trucks await clearance at Rafah border
The Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty paid their first visit to Egypt's border crossing with Gaza, which is the only entry point for Gaza that is not controlled by Israel. However, access to Gaza from this border crossing is closed, and under Israeli military control.

The UN says more food is entering Gaza after international outrage over images of starving children, but argues that more aid needs to arrive, and quicker.
